Dr. Casie Keaton

Doctor of Audiology

Casie Keaton, Doctor of Audiology, graduated in 2002 with her Bachelor of Science in Communication Disorders from Auburn University. She completed her Masters in Audiology in 2004, and received her doctorate in Audiology from the University of Florida in 2007. She has research published in the area of psychoacoustics and has extensive training in tinnitus and hyperacusis. As an Audiologist, her passion is helping people to overcome the challenges of hearing loss, tinnitus and decreased sound tolerance. She emphasizes patient education in her approach to providing hearing healthcare. She believes that information is critical in empowering patients to change their life with improved communication. In December of 2015, Dr. Keaton was selected to attend an Ida Institute conference in Skodsborg, Denmark, the first of its kind to specifically focus on tinnitus. She was one of 15 people selected internationally to attend. In July of 2016, she was invited to England, where she spent time working with leaders in tinnitus research and treatment. In March of 2018, Dr. Keaton attended the Tinnitus Research Initiative conference in Germany. Her continued objective is to provide hope and effective treatment to those living with hearing loss and tinnitus.
