Casie Keaton treats people with tinnitus, a persistent ringing or buzzing in the ears. She runs an audiology clinic in Collierville that specializes in the condition. She travels widely to study it, speaking at a conference in Denmark last year and spending several days this year learning from advanced specialists in England.
“What I want people to know is there are very passionate people out there working on solutions to tinnitus,” she said. “There’s more research now than ever before.”

Voters of the Collierville Independent‘s first-ever Readers’ Choice ballot have selected Dr. Casie Keaton as the 2016 Woman of the Year.
Dr. Keaton opened Thrive Hearing and Tinnitus Solutions in Collierville last year on the Historic Town Square. She is a Doctor of Audiology and earned her Bachelor of Science in Communication Disorders from Auburn University and her Master of Science in Audiology from the University of South Alabama.

Dr. Casie Keaton of Thrive Hearing & Tinnitus Solutions acknowledges that many tinnitus sufferers often feel like they have no hope for relief of their symptoms. “People can be so debilitated by it and have so few resources,” she said. “The more I can raise awareness – that there are things we can do and there are people who are trained to deal with this – the better.”
